Results of Daedalus Questionnaire

Phase 1 of the Daedalus consultation process has now been completed with the closing date for the questionnaires now passed.  More than 20,000 properties in the
wards of Hill Head, Stubbington, Bridgemary North, Bridgemary South, Peel Common, Rowner and Holbrook, Grange, Lee West and Lee East were posted copies of the baseline questionnaire during May 2007.

We had over a 25% response rate which is fantastic for this sort of survey - and certainly kept the postman at Stoke Road, Gosport very busy!  In addition to the postal responses, two hundred people responded to the questionnaire via the website and over 140 people were engaged face-to-face during the street surveys undertaken by the community onsultants – Groundwork Solent.

The results of the questionnaire will now feed into the next phase of consultation which includes the Daedalus Drop In Event which is being held on Monday 30th July from 1pm - 8pm at the Methodist Church Hall, Lee-on-the-Solent.  Everyone is welcome to attend and take the opportunity to learn more about the redevelopment of Daedalus and meet various members of the Project Team.
